Knackering film

Having found the requisite patience to let a soaked canister dry for a couple of weeks on the radiator, I have achieved the film soup look I was… looking… for. Look.

This was a roll of Agfa Vista 200 soaked in a mug with freshly boiled water and green tea bag. The tea bag was left in the mug with the canister for 24 hours and then rinsed thoroughly before being left on a radiator (during Winter) for about 10 days before shooting. The results are fucking gorgeous.

Lots of these are double exposures with some lens-whacking I did with a magnifying glass. Some also used fractal filters. But the colour is all down to the soup. I’ll be soaking a bunch of rolls to take to Lapland next month following this success.
